From 12noon until 3pm, Glenlyon Estate offers a set menu giving you the opportunity to  sample all of our locally produced regional and premium Estate-made offerings in our $40 per person Grazing Menu.

Bookings for the Grazing Menu are essential.

The Grazing Menu includes:

  • Estate made dipping bread, Kyneton Olive oil, Egyptian Dukkah and marinated olives
  • The Wine Tasters Platter – Prosciutto and salami, Estate made terrine, dip, mix of lettuce leaves, sundried tomatoes, pickled onions, baby cornichon’s, marinated feta and fresh fruit.

Plus, if you’re inclined, add an additional 40gm serve of cheese for $10 per selection on offer we have:

Soft (Fromager Daffinois)
Hard (Marcel Petite Comte)
Blue (St Agur Bongrain)

  • Choice of one Estate made thin base (gluten free pizza bases available) per person

Taleggio and Mushroom – Cheese from Lombardy layered with mushroom and cracked pepper
Prosciutto and Salami –Base with sugo al pomodoro, fetta cheese with Istra prosciutto and salami and black olives
Mozzarella and Potato – Thinly sliced potato marinated in olive oil with rosemary, garlic and a hint of chili with or without prosciutto
Fromage Frâis and Smoked Tuki Trout – Tuki smoked trout with fromage frâis and capers finished with chopped dill and a slice of lemon
Italian Sausage – Base with sugo al pomodoro, pork sausage, fennel with sliced traditional Mozzarella and herbs
Margherita – Sugo al pomodoro with sliced traditional Mozzarella

  • For dessert, select one option to share between two people

Berry Pizza – mascarpone and honey with seasonal berries

Baked Choc Fudge, vanilla-bean Cheese Cake with butterscotch  sauce

Afternoon Menu (from 3pm onwards)
From 3pm each Saturday and Sunday, we offer visitors the following:

Platter:

  • Cheese Platter – trio of international cheese, quince paste and fresh fruit
Desserts:
  • Baked chocolate fudge and vanilla-bean cheesecake with butterscotch sauce and a burnt white chocolate crumb
  • Affogato with vanilla bean ice-cream and choice of Frangelico or Baileys
Gourmet Picnic Hampers:
The Estate’s 44 acre property offers picnic locations beside the lake or in the olive grove with views of the surrounding countryside. Ideal as a romantic day for couples, enjoy a gourmet picnic hamper with Estate wines at your own private picnic spot. With just 24 hours advanced notice, the Estate can put together a picnic hamper for you and someone special. The hamper includes:
  • Estate made dipping bread, Kyneton Olive oil, Classic Egyptian dukkah
  • Estate made terrine and chutney
  • Dukkah crumbed French cut lamb cutlets
  • Istra salami and prosciutto with Estate marinated olives
  • Seasonal garden salad
  • Cheese and fruit platter with crackers
  • Decadent double chocolate brownies
  • and a large bottle of Hepburn Mineral Water
